Community Development Society (CDS), in partnership with the YWCA of India, is implementing an integrated livelihood and education intervention to support conflict-affected communities in Churachandpur District, Manipur. The project seeks to improve the socio-economic conditions of women, children youth who have been adversely affected by conflict and displacement by enhancing access to education, vocational skills sustainable livelihood opportunities. Through a community-based approach, the intervention provides market-relevant skill development, educational support, psychosocial care capacity-building initiatives to strengthen resilience and promote self-reliance among vulnerable households. The project is designed to facilitate inclusive recovery by empowering beneficiaries with the knowledge, skills resources required to rebuild their lives while fostering social cohesion and sustainable community development.
