How can I make a donation to Community Development Society (CDS)?

You can make a donation securely through our website by clicking the Donate button. Domestic donations can be made through UPI, Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card using our secure Razorpay payment gateway. You may also donate by scanning the QR code provided on the donation page.

Is it safe to make an online donation through the CDS website?

Yes. Online donations are processed through Razorpay, a secure and widely used online payment platform. Your payment information is processed through Razorpay’s secure payment system, and CDS does not directly collect or store your card or banking details.

Are donations to Community Development Society eligible for tax benefits?

Community Development Society (CDS) is registered under Section 12A and Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Eligible donations may therefore qualify for tax benefits under Section 80G, subject to applicable Income Tax rules and regulations. Donors are advised to consult their tax advisor for specific tax-related guidance.

Will I receive a receipt for my donation?

Yes. A donation receipt can be provided for eligible contributions. Please ensure that you provide accurate details, including your full name, email address, contact information, PAN and other required information, while making your donation so that the receipt can be issued correctly.

What should I do if my payment fails or I experience a problem while donating?

If your transaction fails, please check whether the amount has been debited from your bank account before attempting the payment again. Please do not share sensitive information such as your OTP, PIN, CVV, or banking password.
